About AIZ Munich
Ahlul-Bayt Islamisches Zentrum (also referred as 'AIZ Munich') was conceptualized by a small group of Shia Ithna Asheri members from India & Pakistan on June 30th, 2013. The ultimate purpose of AIZ Munich is to establish an exclusively Urdu & German speaking community center in the city of Munich, Germany serving the religious, spiritual and cultural needs of the current community of approximately 300 members.
Since 2013, AIZ has come a long way in organizing an average of 10 - 12 community programs/calendar year, such as commemoration of 'Viladats' & 'Shahadats' of Holy 14 (as), monthly Dua Kumayl, Summer camps, BBQ's, Sports competitions etc. Currently, AIZ Munich does not have a Resident Alim and regularly invites scholars primarily from U.K., and also from countries such as Norway, Denmark, France, Pakistan & Australia.
In the near future, AIZ Munich desires to accomplish formation of its own community center to organize and set up regular community programs, weekend Madressa for Adults & Children, sports facilities, camps and the like.
AIZ's current executive cabinet is striving to officially register as a 'verein' and obtaining a place for community center by the will of Allah (swt) & the Holy 14 (as).
With the will of Almighty (swt) and without the support of each & every community member, AIZ Munich would not be progressing with the pace it has been since its conception.
